That’s a Wrap!
California high school students got a taste of the Razor DXT Drift Trike last month, as part of a five-city tour coordinated by High School Nation, a group dedicated to helping public schools advance in music, arts and sports.
High School Nation is the largest producer of on-campus events during the school day in the US, providing music festivals, lunchtime concert takeovers, celebrity appearances, prom events, motivational speakers and authors, contests and sweepstakes, and other events. HSN helps support public high school creative arts and athletic programs and facilitates substantial donations for schools including music recording studios and weight and fitness rooms, as well as team uniforms, sports equipment, media labs, and more.
This fall marked HSN’s first sports-focused tour, with stops at schools up and down the California coast. Each event included an HSN-run assembly with fitness challenges and a guest speaker, followed by a series of outdoor challenges including a one-on-one Razor DXT Drift Trike race through an obstacle course. Winners of each heat went on to challenge each other until a champion was selected.
As a key brand and experience partner on the tour, Razor donated several different vehicles, including the DXT Drift Trike, Razor A6 Kick Scooter, and Power A2 Scooter for use in HSN events at Oakland Tech, Lowell High School in San Francisco, Anaheim Senior High School, Downey Charter High in Los Angeles, and Patrick Henry High School in San Diego. Razor also provided scooters for each member of each winning team at each event.
Perfect for teens, the DXT Drift Trike features moto-style steel construction and 10” slick rear wheels for edge-of-your-seat downhill drifting and cornering.
All in, HSN donated over $30,000 worth of sports and fitness equipment to each school on the tour.
The organization is considering this inaugural tour a raging success and plans are in the works for additional tours next year. For more information on the High School Nation Sports & Fitness Tour, follow @highschoolnation or visit http://www.highschoolnation.com/.
