Electric Skateboards: Why won’t my Razor X Skateboard start moving when standing still?

The Razor X series electric skateboards require a push (kick) start.  The motor will not engage from a standing still position.

• Turn the power on for both the electric skateboard and the remote.
• Place one foot on the front deck and with the other foot, push (kick start) Razor X electric skateboard, making sure to get a good roll going (about 3 mph).
• Hold the lever on the remote in the “GO” position.
• Place other foot on rear of deck once motor has engaged.
