Razor Recalls Icon Electric Scooters Due to Fall Hazard
Razor USA is voluntarily recalling the Icon Electric Scooter because the downtube of the recalled electric scooter can separate from the floorboard during use, posing a fall risk.

Remedy: Register for this recall using the form below and select one of the two remedy options offered.
- A check for $300 made out in your name and mailed to the registered address. OR
- If you purchased your Icon scooter on or after March 11, 2023 and submit a copy of a detailed, dated receipt of purchase when you register for the recall, you will receive a check for the Icon’s purchase price and associated shipping and taxes as documented on the receipt. The check will be made out in your name and mailed to the registered address. If you submit a receipt that is older than March 11, 2023 or is undated, you will receive the $300 check in option 1.
Recall Details: This recall involves all Razor Icon electric scooters with the following model and serial numbers.
The model number is printed in the lower right corner of the label located on the bottom of the deck. The serial number is printed below the bar code on the same label with “31” and on the back of the charger.

The Razor Icons were sold in the following colors: black, blue, orange, pink and red. Razor is printed in large lettering on the stem of the handlebars and the floorboard.
Once Razor receives your information, we will ship you a Recovery Kit with instructions for disassembling the handlebar from your scooter, a prepaid shipping pouch for returning the handlebar at no cost to you, and a tool to assist with the disassembly. After Razor receives your Recovery Kit with the Icon handlebar, we will provide the remedy option you chose at registration.
Razor may share your name and contact information with the CPSC so they can track the progress of this safety recall unless you notify us in writing within 10 days that you do not consent to our sharing this information with them.
