Razor Supports the United Nations International School

Adding Some Razor Flair to the International Food & Fun Fair

Founded in 1947 by a group of United Nations parents to provide an international education for their children while preserving their diverse cultural heritages, the United Nations International School has grown to serve over 1600 PreK – 12th grade students including kids from the United Nations, international, and New York communities.

With campuses in Queens and Manhattan, students are instructed in English but also take classes in French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese and Russian. The school’s internationally recognized academic standards enable their students to study at top colleges and universities in the United States and worldwide.

But when it’s time to take a break from all that learning and studying, students and their families participate in events like May’s International Food & Fun Fair, featuring a smorgasbord of food from over 100 countries prepared and donated by UNIS families, as well as sports, games, arts & crafts, and… of course, raffles.

And that’s where Razor comes in! Proud to support this stellar school in its efforts to raise funds for improvements, enhancements, and school projects not allocated in the budget, Razor donated Razor Spark Scooters, A5 and A6 scooters, and helmets (safety first!) to this worthy event.

Attended by over 1200 guests, the 2019 UNIS International Food & Fun Fair was a smashing success, with four lucky attendees scoring brand-new Razor rides. If you’ve got an event coming up and would like to request a donation from Razor, visit https://razor.com/share/razor-first-wheels-program/.
