Razor Shared Scooter Rides into Tempe

Launches A Better Shared Scooter Ride in Tempe

Tempe, AZ, September 17, 2018 — The global leader of scooters has launched Razor Share dockless e-scooters in Tempe.

Razor Share scooters have been custom designed from the ground up to provide a better shared scooter ride for adult riders. The scooters have cushy front air tires, a wide deck big enough for two feet side-by-side, a UL-compliant lithium ion battery, and a rigid steel frame.

“We are excited to be joining the Tempe community with its diverse population and lively culture,” said Danny Simon, Chief Operating Officer for Razor USA. “We know the people and visitors of Tempe will love riding Razor Share Scooters because the experience is convenient and fun. We look forward to being a strong community partner.”

To celebrate the launch of Razor Share in Tempe, adult riders will receive their first ride for free, up to 15 minutes. Razor will be holding a community pop-up in the next month where adult riders can test out Razor Share and receive a free helmet.

Razor has been on the forefront of mobility innovation since 2000 when they reimagined the scooter to become a global phenomenon. Razor then launched their first electric scooter in 2003. Since then, Razor has been the world’s leading producer of electric scooters.
