Launches A Better Shared Scooter Ride for the Community

Razor Share was all rides and free helmets at the Willamette Week Best of Portland Block Party this month! Razor Share dockless EcoSmart e-scooters have arrived in Portland and we finally got to show them off in person with a community pop-up.

For those of you who didn’t get a chance to stop by, Razor Share’s EcoSmart is not like any ride you’ve had before. With a wide deck big enough for two feet side-by-side, 80-minute runtime, and a large seat for long rides, EcoSmarts will make it easy to travel safely around Portland your way.

We can’t wait for you to start riding! Here are a few things to keep in mind before you scoot!

• Walk your scooter on sidewalks. Riding is permitted only on streets, bike lanes, or vehicle travel lanes.
• Wear a Helmet! Not only is it for your safety, but it is Oregon law.
• You have to be 18 years or older to ride.
• Limit 1 person per scooter.
• We know you guys are super polite on the road, but don’t forget to yield to pedestrians.
• Portland has some beautiful parks, but please no riding in them.
• When you’re done, park your scooter on the sidewalk, close to the curb, or in designated parking areas.
